ya only 10-13 days before the map pack is released for the PS3!!!

i worked with some xboxers yesterday, totaly unaware i dint have the map pack yet....grrrrr

guess who bought me lunch...hahahaha

anyway...

The release date is March 3rd, which should mean it is 10 days away..yup count em, 10

however this NEVER goes as planned...so i wonder when it is gonna be?

I'm hoping it's on time cus I wanna play the new maps.

xbox got them before 6 am on the day they came out, i suppose yall should too. that being said, xbox is better.

I don't know if better is the word I would use to describe the xbox. If anything, I would call the xbox users generous. Considering they give up their money every month to beta test the new maps for the rest of us.

Speaking of new maps! Where's the fawking commentary on the new maps?!? I want details! Where are the camping spots to watch out for? Come on you generous people!!!

Camping spots? The maps are covered by them everywhere someone is camping. It kinda hard to describe them all but a few tips Berlin Wall is too big and boring in tdm so always skip it, stadium Dom b flag need complete teamwork to cap, and always keep your eyes open on Kowloon because there are so many pathways.

well, i have signed on to the PS3 and seen ads for the new map packs and not been able to download them yet.

I have signed in to COD and seen an ad at the bottom, saying "New map packs avail" and NOT been able to download them...

ok, DARK, im gonna get lots of rest this week, and stay on all Friday night, we gotta get a game in....

i played the new maps on my girlfriend's brother's xbox (i know traitor!!) but anyway berlin wall is just a bunch of campers on one side... the hockey one is pretty cool and i like kowloon and the zip line

Hmmm even though you say to skip Berlin TG, I still wanna have a root around on it as I think it looks like a split Array? also the auto turrets look like fun (cue giggles from lookin/Gnu - "eeeeugh I'm dead Gnu"...."yepp, so am I lookin")

It's more like countdown from mw2 because no one has the balls to go to the other side so they just camp out the buildings.

I got it Sista.. Downloaded it 7:00 est.... Haven't got to play it yet.. but its downloaded and waiting for Rammie to get off work...

So shall I even bother paying the £12 its gonna cost me to download camping maps?

veggie- kowloon is hard, especially on hc, because there is almost always someway for someone to be behind you. no way to check every single corner or anything.

bloodi- best review ever.

gnu- yes, its worth it for other game modes (wager matches) and the zombie map itself is worth it actually. theyre like a bonus item.

I'd say yeah too Gnu... I'd pay $15 bucks for a new zombie map anyday. I only got to hop on for 1 quick game of multiplayer over my lunch.. (boss is a damn slave driver) I played the Berlin Wall with Fredd.. I enjoyed the new map for sure.. There wasn't too much camping, I start out getting killed by a nade shortly after the spawn. I then beasted up a 18 K/S.. Had 2 lined up for the game winner but couldn't pull it off. 18-2 satisfied me for the first attempt at Berlin..


JTL: I wasn't aware there was more wager matches.. Are these different game modes or just these new maps added to the existing wager match play list?

Gnu - Yeah, I hear ya there. I started the download last night and realized there was no way it was gonna complete before I had to get to sleep. It completed sometime in the middle of the night.

I got on and checked out Stadium. That's a pretty cool looking map. Really is a bummer that you can't get on the ice, though, or at least into the seats.

This is also another 2XP weekend for all platforms!

dark- probably the biggest disappointment of the map pack, it would have been really cool to slip around on the ice.

You know what sucks about stadium they advertised the hockey rink as the main attraction and you cant even go in it. I agree jtl

exactly, its like the outside of the stadium. i dont even understand why there would be battles there anyway. oh well.
