we do have some pretty pro quickscopers in the clan, im the best with trick shots, feel free to disagree, but who (in this clan) can out trick shot me in a rust 1v1 trick shot match w/ intervention, commando pro, sleight of hand pro, and stopping power pro.

me wild jtricks blasto, we are all pro quickscopers...but who is the best...who knows!!!

im still sorta learning too though, i can get them every-so-often when they are actually shooting me, but usually i just stand behind them and try to get them lol.

Why learn to quickscope when the rafficas deal with CQB better? I'm crap at it, in 1v1 matches i'm good(duh) but in actually games I suck plus I'm more worried about xp and my KDR.

1: what is a quick scope? i notice, as you go to ADS, there is a second when the enemy appears in your scope, before you have raised it to your eye, is that what the fuss is about?

2: wouldnt it be better just to shoot from the hip, with steady aim?

3: like TG says, most snipers switch to secondary when it tight areas, i just fire my sniper rifle from the hip...

well, it looks like you have more explaining to do thatn you thought shock...

and how do you 'cheat' at quick scoping?

I've tried to quickscope once or twice, but have had really bad experiences with it. I usually just get the crap shot out of me for my efforts, too.

Then again, that usually happens even when I'm not playing sniper!

lookin- quickscoping is with a bolt action. you can do it with the other snipers but its much less cool because you can just shoot a bunch of times. a quickscope is when you (usually using slight of hand pro) quickly ads and shoot at the same time thus not "hard scoping" or hipfiring. the trick is that your gun is moving at the time so its harder to line it up. its done so that you dont have to switch to your side arm or when you dont have time to switch.

I predominantly have my side arm out when I'm moving from one spot to another if I don't have it out I try to No scope them because I have about the same chance of hitting them.

have you ever noticed as you are about to ADS, the gun is about half way up, and you see a quick glimpse of the enemy in the scope...if you shoot right then...will you hit them?

yesss, thats what it is, and thats how u know u did it, in spectator or kill cam, u normally don't see the scope if it's done right, but on YOUR screen u will have maybe a quick half-second glimpse of the scope, if lined up, shoot, if you cant quick scope and feel more comfortable no-scoping (shooting from the hip), then pinch the scope (L1) a tiny bit, it shrinks the crossairs more, thus making the no-scope more accurate.

another tip i have with the whole "secondary weapon" thing, is what i do:
I run with sniper, try to quickscope, then as soon as i pull the trigger on my sniper, i hit the weapon switch button, and spray with it, most the time it works, but if not, (not too often does it fail, becuz my quickscopes usually hit) then my secondary isnt akimbo...

BTW: thats another thing, akimbo handguns are best, becuz- akimbo has way more firepower; and handguns are the fastest switch

LEVEL 1 (to start off/beginner) : NOOB/GNU
LEVEL 2 (10 kills/improving) : NOT-SO-NOOBISH
LEVEL 3 (20 kills/notice a difference yet) : YOUNG GRASSHOPPER
LEVEL 4 (30 kills/ur not as bad as you thought) : PRODIGY
LEVEL 5 (50 kills/i have to start trying a little more...) : APPRENTICE
LEVEL 6 (75 kills/u are obviously better) : AIGHT (pronounced: I-eet)
LEVEL 7 (100 kills/final level) : BETTER-THAN-AVERAGE
PRESTIGE (150 kills/ u dont really prestige, its just the extra title) : PRO

just PLEASE keep track of your kills, on here, piece of paper/on here, PSN comment/on here. always post ur progress here, and if you lie, i will say how many kills I have!!!

im thinking shotguns this prestiege, i did guns the last two, so ill work the a12 till i get that good shotgun, that EVERYBODY seems to use...

the only person i have ever seen miss with it is Rammy...lol

okay, then u should use steady aim with your sniper, and always run with secondary, unless u r actually sniping... another advantage with handguns w/ snipers, when you double switch (hit the weapon switch twice really fast), the gun moves sideways instead of up/down

and witch shotgun, i think the best ones r the: SPAZ-12, M1014, MODEL 1887 akimbo, and maybe STRIKER, if you know how to use it

and by the way lookin i mean the QS kills in the private matches 1v1 with me, when i am teaching you, so ur back to zero, if you want lesson 1 now, ill go on

The striker is a Beast shotty, AA-12 is a full auto cheap gun, cmon a shotty is a 1-2 hit kill you don't need the gun to be full auto.

i tried quickscoping last nite in the FTY privite QS match...but i mostly shot from the hip...lol..isuk

last night i got 2 qcs in one final kill cam oin a tdm match when i was with heartspro but if ur gonna qc dont use thermal or acog cause the scope comes up too quickly fmj is recomended but it dosnt really do anything unless ur a wallbanger

i dunno zod i like the acog for quickscoping, better for practice in my opinion, the scope is harder to do it with.

Does it still count as quickscoping if you use acog? I mean then isnt that the same as say a shotgun?

shotguns dont have scopes. its called "quick scoping" and an "acog scope" so it is a scope so i consider it quick scoping. plus there is no reason to use a full scope on smaller maps unless you really want to see their expression, so i use acog on small maps and still think of it as quick scoping.

go GNUs, but i like Shocks better, and i never use acog,, but to unlock thermal, i only ue thermal to help find enemies, and i only use fmj, for actual quick scoping

but still, i am a pro at the sport of quick scoping, so i hope i can teach u guys to be pros too, yes that means the GNUs!!!

was playing ffa mostly all day and came in alot of 2nd 3rds withouts using killstreaks and rush quickscoping , no claymores yes throwing knives ! ppl that camped the whole damn match in a room surrounded by claymores with high killstreaks won all the matches or boosters , i just pres yesterday soi had no sitrep or cb :l
